Terms of service
Interim terms — September 30, 2026. These initial terms support development and Google authorization. They remain subject to review with the Towns before public report submissions are enabled.
This website supports the Wetherill Nature Preserve, jointly owned by the Towns of Hunts Point and Yarrow Point. It provides information for the public and records-management tools for authorized commissioners and Town administrators. Please use the site lawfully and in accordance with these terms.
Public information and reports
Public pages can be read without an account. Issue reporting is planned but is not yet available. When enabled, reports will require sign-in. Provide accurate information to the best of your knowledge, submit only material you are authorized to share, and avoid unnecessary personal information about other people.
By submitting a report or document, you permit the Preserve and the Towns to use, review, retain and, when appropriate, publish or disclose it for Preserve administration and legal obligations. You retain any ownership rights you hold. These terms do not grant unrelated commercial rights to your submission.
This website is not an emergency service and is not continuously monitored. For an emergency, call 911. A report does not guarantee a particular response time or outcome.
Authorized portal users
Commissioners and Town administrators receive access according to their assigned roles. Protect your account, use only the access granted to you, and do not share credentials or attempt to bypass access controls. Report suspected unauthorized access to the Towns.
Upload, import or change only records you are authorized to handle. Financial records, donor information and records of administrative activity must be used for authorized Preserve business. Corrections preserve history; an import or reconciliation result does not replace official review or approval.
An admin who connects Google Drive authorizes the server to download configured finance sources using read-only access, including subsequent syncs without an open browser. The connection can be revoked through the Google account. Existing agency records remain subject to retention requirements.
Acceptable use
Do not introduce malicious software, disrupt the service, impersonate someone, attempt unauthorized access, or submit unlawful material. Access may be limited to protect records and service security. Administration of public submissions must respect applicable law; disagreement with the Preserve or the Towns is not by itself misuse.
Privacy and public records
Our Privacy policy describes collection, use and handling of account details, reports, location information, financial documents and donor records. Records may be disclosed under Washington’s Public Records Act, subject to applicable exemptions. These terms do not limit public-records rights or override retention laws.
Accuracy, availability and outside services
We aim to keep the site useful and accurate, but information can be incomplete or out of date and the service may be interrupted. Confirm official decisions, financial records and current conditions with the Towns when needed. Follow posted signs and Preserve rules when visiting.
Links to Google, the Towns and other services may take you to websites with their own terms and privacy practices. These terms do not replace applicable law or the Towns’ official processes, and do not waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as features and policies develop; the date above identifies the latest revision. Contact the Yarrow Point clerk’s office or the Town of Hunts Point with questions about the site or the appropriate administrative process.
